Fun & Social Centre

As the name suggests, a Tabatinga Fun & Social Centre is a place where families with young children can gather to share fun experiences and socialise in a safe, purpose-built space. The centre operates on a pay-for-play basis and is a full-service operation with multiple attractions on offer, café & meal service, birthday parties and group/corporate events. The rainforest theme allows for an educational aspect, and the use of animated characters headed by the brand mascot, Ranger Tabatha, deliver a sustainability message in a subliminal and fun manner. The business practices, merchandise and consumables used in the centre support this sustainability message.

 

A Fun & Social Centre requires generous space allocation, 500m2 would be considered a minimum. Underutilised function rooms/auditoriums are ideal spaces with the flexibility of the centre being custom designed to fit an existing space.

What is Tabatinga?

Tabatinga is a multi-award-winning rainforest themed brand incorporating children’s play spaces and digital entertainment geared to providing fun and education to families with young children.
Tabatinga was founded in 2008 with the first venue opening as a stand-alone centre on the NSW Mid-North Coast. The first Club based venue opened in 2013 in the Seagulls Leagues Club on the Tweed Coast.
A Tabatinga Fun & Social Centre is a pay-for-play children’s entertainment venue purpose-built in a safe and secure area. The centre offers a variety of attractions, parties, café and meal services in a highly themed environment. Parents must stay with their children whilst in the centre with all guest entry/exits controlled by staff via a gated fence at the reception.

The Business Structure

The Tabatinga model has been designed to enable the host Club to own and operate the business under a Licensed arrangement with Tabatinga Head Office support.

Tabatinga is not a franchise, the business relationship is loosely structured to allow freedom to operate the business as best suits the dynamic of the Club’s operations, facilities and services. The Tabatinga model is designed to support the Club to whatever level required in any aspect of the operations.

In return, the Club pays to Tabatinga a set monthly fee covering administration, software subscriptions and brand development costs.
